Here are two recipes for shredded tofu stir-fry:
Recipe 1: Spicy Shredded Tofu Stir-fry
Ingredients:
- 1 block of firm tofu, shredded
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
Directions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat.
- Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add sliced onion and bell pepper, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly tender.
- Add shredded tofu and stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the tofu is slightly browned.
- Add soy sauce, chili paste, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with rice.
Recipe 2: Ginger and Garlic Shredded Tofu Stir-fry
Ingredients:
- 1 block of firm tofu, shredded
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large carrot, peeled and sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Directions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add sliced bell peppers and carrot, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly tender.
- Add shredded tofu and stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the tofu is slightly browned.
- Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot with rice.
